Refund Policy

Our goal is for every customer to be satisfied. Here's our straightforward refund policy:
Full refund before we file
If we have not yet submitted your dissolution documents to the state, you can request a full refund of our $75 service fee at any time. Email support@dissolveyourbusiness.com with your order number and we will process the refund within 1-2 business days.
No refund after we file
Once we have submitted your dissolution documents to the state Secretary of State, refunds are not available. This is because:
- State filing fees, if any, are non-refundable by the state.
- Our work has been performed.
- The dissolution is in process with the state.
If we can't file for you
If, after reviewing your order, we determine that we cannot file the dissolution (e.g., your state has unusual requirements we can't fulfill, your entity is in a status that prevents dissolution, etc.), we will offer you a full refund of our service fee.
State fee handling
Our $75 service fee is separate from any state filing fee. If a state filing fee has been paid (either by you directly or by us on your behalf), it is generally non-refundable by the state once filed. We will refund state fees we collected but have not yet paid to the state.
How to request a refund
Email support@dissolveyourbusiness.com with:
- Your order number (DYB-XXXXXXXX-XXXX)
- The email used to place the order
- A brief reason for the refund request
Refunds are processed via the original payment method and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
